Brough Manor

Brough Manor – A Warm, Welcoming Home in Brough

Brough Manor is set in the popular village of Brough, just a short walk from the Humber Estuary and only four minutes from the mainline train station. With excellent transport links to Hull and surrounding towns, the home is ideally located for both residents and visiting families.

The village itself is full of charm and history. From local cafés and traditional pubs to independent shops and historical sites, there is plenty to explore. Just off Station Road lies the former Brough Aerodrome — once the world’s oldest aircraft factory and a key training ground during World War I. The area is also famously linked to the highwayman Dick Turpin, adding to its rich local character.

Inside, Brough Manor has been carefully adapted from its original role as a manor house to a warm and welcoming residential home. Across three floors, the building offers 26 individually styled en-suite rooms, many retaining beautiful period features. Large windows fill the rooms with natural light, while the layout is designed to feel both comfortable and familiar.

The home includes a colourful courtyard with planting beds, a resident chalet lodge for quiet time outdoors, and communal areas to relax, chat, or enjoy activities. Our Bistro Restaurant, cosy lounge, games and cinema corner, sweet shop, hair and beauty room, and resident pub bar all add to the lively, home-from-home atmosphere.

Every detail has been considered with the comfort and wellbeing of residents in mind. From the kitchen to the care team, our staff take genuine pride in the service we provide — building strong relationships with residents and families alike. We have built a trusted reputation across East Yorkshire and Hull for delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

As a small family-run home, we take time to get to know each individual — their stories, preferences, and needs. Whether it is a trip to The Buccaneer or Ferry Inn Pub, to watch the football, a chat over cake in the garden, or a visit to a local landmark, we make it personal.

At Brough Manor, we are proud to offer more than just care. We offer community, connection, and a true sense of home.
